He does not lament these challenges. He does not lament his regrettable behaviors when he faced them. The very pain that imprisoned him is what liberated him.
He wasn’t able to shed his judgement of himself, or his judgement of others, until he abandoned hope for himself. All of his hope is now reserved for humanity. He is liberated from society’s anxieties and he is positively focused on the social evolution of the human.
He does this with his literature and by helping others amplify their voices.
